Administrative approval for early phase activities of Graphene ecosystem development


The administrative approval of 86.4156 crore for establishing the India Innovation Center for Graphene (IICG), It marks the first phase of developing a graphene ecosystem in the state to foster industries. This decision to establish a graphene pilot production facility in Kerala comes amidst ongoing research worldwide on graphene. Graphene holds the potential to catalyze revolutionary advancements in electrical electronics, power generation, medical nanotechnology, as well as industry and manufacturing sectors.An additional 237 crore has been allocated for the implementation of the Graphene Pilot Production Facility (GPPF).
