The order has granted administrative approval for the projects undertaken by the Department of Culture

The Department of Cultural Affairs' Mazhamizhi Project for the financial year 2024-25 has been approved. The project, which focuses on Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics, has been granted administrative approval along with the stipulated terms.

An allocation of 1 crore has been made for the Mazhamizhi New Media Arts Programme. A proposal detailing the districts, venues, and contact persons for the program must be submitted for government approval. Remuneration, honorarium, travel allowances, and other expenses will be reimbursed according to government regulations.

The Kerala State Motion Picture Development Corporation, the implementing agency for the project, has sanctioned 25 lakhs for Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics. Permission is granted to utilize this 25 lakh allocation, which includes 10 lakhs for infrastructure development, on the condition that the project will be conducted using the existing facilities of KSFDC.
